Summary

Bilateral sacroiliac joint fracture-dislocation is a rare sacral injury. Nonoperative management resulted in a full functional recovery and good alignment in this case.

  • Nonoperative management was employed for this rare pelvic injury.
  • The patient achieved complete functional return.
  • Acceptable anatomical alignment was maintained post-treatment.

Implications:

  • This case suggests nonoperative management may be a viable option for select bilateral sacroiliac joint fracture-dislocations.
