Adventitial fibroblast abormality in thoracic aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections

Adventitial fibroblasts from patients with thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections (TAAD) show impaired extracellular matrix production and smooth muscle cell transformation. Restoring fibroblast function may offer a new treatment strategy for TAAD.
