[Vagotomy in emergency surgery of complicated duodenal ulcer]

The article deals with general information on the immediate and late-term results of operations with vagotomy for perforating and bleeding duodenal ulcers in 670 patients. Indications for economical operative interventions in emergency situations were determined. The immediate and late-term results of economical operations with vagotomy allow them to be recommended for introduction into wide surgical practice.
