ANCA-associated systemic vasculitis in Japan: clinical features and prognostic changes

Reducing initial prednisolone doses in Japanese anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis/rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (AAV/RPGN) patients improved survival. Further research is needed to establish maintenance strategies to prevent relapse and enhance renal outcomes.
