Levosalbutamol for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a treatment evaluation

Levosalbutamol, the (R)-isomer of salbutamol, shows beneficial effects in preclinical models for treating COPD. However, clinical studies have not consistently demonstrated its superiority over racemic salbutamol.
