Hyoid expansion as a treatment for obstructive sleep apnea: a pilot study

Hyoid expansion surgery for obstructive sleep apnea showed good tolerance and improved snoring. However, it did not significantly improve objective sleep apnea measures like the apnea-hypopnea index.
