Adiponectin relation to skin changes and dyslipidemia in systemic sclerosis

Adiponectin levels did not differ in systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients versus controls. However, lower adiponectin correlated with skin thickening, suggesting a protective role in SSc skin and vascular changes.
