Pre- and post-instrumentation images were analyzed using specialized software to quantify curvature-radius ratio (CRr) and relative axis error (rAe).

Main Results:

A statistically significant difference was found between the two instrumentation systems for both CRr and rAe.
The WaveOne Primary system demonstrated significantly lower values for both parameters compared to ProTaper.

Conclusions:

The WaveOne NiTi single-file system leads to reduced canal modifications (curvature and axis error) compared to the ProTaper system.
This suggests that WaveOne may offer a more conservative and predictable shaping outcome in endodontic treatment.
