Personality characteristics are recognized determinants of psychological well-being, yet their influence on acculturating individuals requires further investigation.

Purpose of the Study:

To examine the relationship between acculturation indicators, cultural distance, strategies, and personality dimensions in Hispanic students.
To determine the extent to which personality traits predict psychological adjustment among Hispanic students.

Two studies were conducted involving Hispanic students.
