Abstract:
Two case reports on carcinoma of the stomach associated with pregnancy are presented. In both cases, the main symptoms were persisting hyperemesis, nausea and weight loss. Both mothers succumbed within a year after their pregnancy, but the infants born by Cesarean section are doing well. The diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties which are encountered when a carcinoma complicates a pregnancy are discussed.
