  • Facial bone involvement is rare, most common in maxilla, mandible, and nasal bones.
  • Zygomatic bone involvement is exceptionally rare, with only 20 reported cases.
  • A case of a slowly growing, hard, bony tumor causing facial and ocular deformity is presented.

Findings:

  • Typical clinicopathologic and radiologic findings aid diagnosis.
  • Intraosseous hemangioma of the zygoma confirmed.
  • Minimal operative blood loss and no need for preoperative angiography.

Implications:

  • Early recognition and excision are crucial for preserving facial contour.
  • Surgical management is effective for zygomatic bone hemangiomas.
  • This case adds to the literature on rare zygomatic bone tumors.
