Bone formation rather than inflammation reflects ankylosing spondylitis activity on PET-CT: a pilot study

Positron Emission Tomography - Computer Tomography (PET-CT) imaging of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) shows disease activity is linked to bone formation, not inflammation. The [18F]Fluoride tracer is promising for visualizing AS bone activity.
