  • Bilateral retinal lesions in an 85-year-old patient were initially suspected to be metastases.
  • Diagnostic evaluation included slit-lamp biomicroscopy, funduscopy, fluorescein angiography, B-scan ultrasonography (U/S), and enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT).

Observation:

  • B-scan U/S showed bilateral echo-dense choroidal consolidations with acoustic shadowing.
