Expression and function of FRA2/JUND in cutaneous T-cell lymphomas

A common oncogenic pathway involving FRA2/JUND drives CC chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4) expression in mature T-cell cancers like ATLL and CTCL. This discovery offers new therapeutic targets for these lymphomas.

- Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs) frequently express CC chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4).

- A common oncogenic cascade initiated by FRA2/JUND exists in CCR4-expressing mature T-cell malignancies, including ATLL and CTCL.
- FRA2 and JUND play crucial roles in the proliferation and gene expression of CTCL.
