Serum complement C4 in chronic hepatitis C: correlation with histopathologic findings and disease activity

Serum complement C4 levels correlate with liver disease activity in chronic hepatitis C patients. This finding may help assess disease progression and guide treatment decisions for hepatitis C virus infection.
