  • IL-1 targeting drugs showed limited effect on sperm counts.
  • Testosterone treatment improved sperm counts in one of two patients with low testosterone levels.

  • Male MWS patients require systematic assessment of sexual health and fertility.
  • Further research is needed to determine the frequency of subfertility, its timing in the disease course, and the efficacy of treatments like IL-1 inhibitors, testosterone, or sperm cryopreservation.
