[A "wrapping-up" gastrointestinal anastomosis]

Formation of "wrapping" gastrointestinal anastomosis is suggested to reduce lethality after subtotal resection of the stomach for cancer in patients at high risk for pyo-septic complications. The procedure allows to completely avoid anastomotic leakage and thus decreases lethality by half.
