Postoperative hemorrhage following adenoidectomy is rare, with primary bleeding (R1) occurring in 0.5% of cases. Secondary bleeding (R2) from the adenoid bed is extremely uncommon in children.

- Combined adenotonsillectomy carries a higher risk of serious primary hemorrhage compared to individual procedures.
