Thyroid cancer in patients with acromegaly: a case-control study

Acromegaly patients show a significantly higher prevalence of thyroid cancer compared to controls. Routine thyroid screening, including ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration biopsy, is recommended for individuals with acromegaly.
