Abstract:
A soft-tissue cause should always be considered when evaluating metatarsalgia. The history, examination, and plain radiographs can all suggest an avenue of pursuit, be it a potential dermatologic, connective tissue, vascular, neurologic, muscular, or neoplastic process.
