A novel method to estimate iliac tortuosity in evaluating EVAR access

Subjective grading of iliac artery tortuosity shows good agreement but is not a reliable surrogate for the tortuosity index. A new method using the shortest aortic bifurcation-common femoral artery distance on CT scans is a practical and accurate alternative.
