Interaction between western corn rootworm (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) larvae and root-infecting Fusarium

Summary

Western corn rootworm larvae significantly increased Fusarium verticillioides root colonization in maize, especially when the fungus was applied early. The fungus, however, slightly suppressed rootworm larval development.
