Area of Science:

  • Hematology
  • Oncology
  • Dermatology

Background:

  • Acute myelomonocytic leukemia (AMML) is a rare subtype of acute myeloid leukemia.
  • Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a neutrophilic dermatosis with an unclear etiology, sometimes associated with systemic diseases.
  • The relationship between PG and hematological malignancies, particularly acute myeloid leukemia, is increasingly recognized.
