Abstract:
Dashmulakwatha, a preparation of Dashmula official in the Ayurvedic Formulary, was estimated for its phytosterol content by HPTLC method. The preparation was found to contain 7.165% W/W of phytosterols with respect to β-sitosterol as standard.
