Hypoglycamic activity of extracts fo ficus glomerata

Ficus glomerata leaf and root bark extracts were tested for their ability to lower blood sugar. Chloroform and methanolic leaf extracts, along with chloroform root bark extract, showed significant hypoglycemic effects in rabbits.
