Executive function deficits in narcolepsy are linked to sleepiness, not the specific narcolepsy diagnosis. Severity of attention problems in narcolepsy with cataplexy (NC) and narcolepsy without cataplexy (NwC) correlates with sleepiness and intellectual level.
