Abstract:
Pulmonary artery (PA) reconstruction during the arterial switch operation is associated with a risk of subsequent stenosis. We present the case of a neonate who underwent an arterial switch operation and successful PA reconstruction with fresh, autologous aortic tissue. Short-term follow up has demonstrated PA growth and remodeling.
