    Abstract:

    In the title mol-ecule, C(26)H(28)F(2)N(2)O, the piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation, with the N-bonded substituents in equatorial orientations. The dihedral angle between the fluoro-benzene rings is 69.10 (15).

    Heterocyclic amines, where the N atom is a part of an alicyclic system, are similar in basicity to alkylamines. Interestingly, the heterocyclic amine having a nitrogen atom as part of an aromatic ring has much less basicity than its corresponding alicyclic counterpart.
