Chronic gastritis in dermatitis herpetiformis: a controlled study

Chronic atrophic gastritis is common in the stomach corpus of dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) patients, unlike controls. This finding suggests an autoimmune link and a potential increased risk for gastric cancer in DH.
