Abstract:
For 10 weeks, at the end of last year, my wife and I went out to Zambia with Project Teeth Relief, a UK based charity providing dental care to the rural areas of Zambia. The aim of the charity is to provide emergency dental care, dental health education and training for local health workers in the rural areas where there are no dental services available. Dentists on long-term contracts and volunteers who will spend 2-3 months at a time in the rural area are needed urgently to go out to the country.
