Abstract:
A case of localized amyloidosis of the subglottis is described. Urgent endotracheal intubation and later tracheostomy were required for upper airway obstruction. The amyloid was completely resected endoscopically using the CO2 laser. There is no evidence of recurrence two-and-a-half years after surgery.
