Multiple MDMA (Ecstasy) overdoses at a rave event: a case series

Severe 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) toxicity, particularly hyperthermia, led to life-threatening complications and permanent sequelae in rave attendees. High-dose MDMA, environmental heat, and exertion exacerbated these severe outcomes.
