Abstract:
The nursing team of the medicine and diabetology unit of the inter-municipal hospital of Meulan-les-Mureaux has created a therapeutic patient education (TPE) programme. Its implementation is the result of a rewarding and constructive process for the nursing teams. It involved reflexive analysis with regard to their practices and encouraged team cohesion thanks to common objectives. TPE offers patients personalised treatment with a view to making them more autonomous and enabling them to become the player in the care of their pathology.
