Abstract:
Therapeutic patient education (TPE) imposes a radical change in the nurse-patient relationship. It is a real humanist trend whose values are taken up in the new nursing curriculum. Several teaching units are participating in the development of skill 5: Initiating and implementing educational and preventative care". This new element in the training programme is leading to real cultural evolution in professional practice.
