Circulating Th17 cells are not elevated in patients with chronic heart failure

This study found no significant increase in T helper 17 (Th17) cells or their associated cytokine, Interleukin-17 (IL-17), in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). These findings suggest Th17 cells do not play a major role in CHF pathogenesis.
