  • Software tools like Flexible Spectral Imaging Color Enhancement (FICE) offer potential improvements.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the reproducibility of FICE system interpretation in CE.
  • To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of FICE in CE.

Main Methods:

  • Prospective study with 20 patients.
  • Four physicians interpreted static FICE images for inter-observer agreement (Fleiss Kappa Test).
  • Two gastroenterologists compared conventional CE videos with CE-FICE videos (setting 2) for lesion detection.

  • Substantial overall concordance (0.650) among four physicians interpreting FICE images.
  • CE-FICE identified 95 findings compared to 75 with conventional CE.
