Summary

Recurrent miscarriage may be linked to an imbalance in killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) favoring activation. Women with recurrent miscarriage showed higher rates of activating KIR gene genotypes (Bx) and lower rates of inhibitory KIR gene genotypes (AA).
