A rare supernumerary nostril deformity was successfully treated with a novel surgical technique. This study also classifies different types of supernumerary nostrils and their surgical approaches.

  • A classification system for various supernumerary nostril morphologies was proposed.

Implications:

  • The findings contribute to a better understanding of supernumerary nostril variations.
  • The presented surgical technique offers a potential solution for this rare condition.
  • This work may guide future management and classification of supernumerary nostrils.
