Abstract:
16 caries-free partially edentulous patients were treated with 36 extracoronal adhesive attachments to support 4 removable partial dentures in the upper and 14 in the lower jaw. The cast nonprecious metal retainers were electrochemically etched and bonded with Superbond to the prepared abutment teeth. No debonding of the retainer occurred during the incorporation time of maximal 52 and minimal 3 months.
