[Hemisection--case report]

The maintenance of teeth for a long time is a main goal of dentistry. Hemisections and root amputations are small surgical methods to conserve impaired teeth for periodontic, endodontic and prosthodontic view part. The successful hemisection of a lower jaw molar is demonstrated by a clinical example.
