Integrative bioethics is a novel approach developed by Croatian scholars.
This approach aims to address moral dilemmas arising from modern science and technology.

Purpose of the Study:

To critically evaluate the conceptual foundations and practical applicability of integrative bioethics.
To identify and analyze the difficulties and inconsistencies within the integrative bioethics framework.

Main Methods:

Conceptual analysis of the core tenets of integrative bioethics.
Critical examination of the arguments presented by its advocates.
Assessment of its normativity and scientific features.

Main Results:

The study reveals significant conceptual confusions and inconsistencies in integrative bioethics.
Advocates of integrative bioethics fall into logical fallacies when criticizing existing views and presenting their own.
The approach lacks normativity and action-guiding capacity, failing to provide solutions for bioethical dilemmas.

Conclusions:

Integrative bioethics, despite its claims, is not a normatively robust or scientifically credible enterprise.
Its pseudoscientific features undermine its credibility as an interdisciplinary project for addressing contemporary bioethical issues.
