Abstract:
A retrospective study was performed to investigate whether the relationship between subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) and diabetic retinopathy (DR) reported in Asiatic type 2 diabetic populations also occurs in the Caucasian population. We could not find any relationship between either TSH levels or the presence of SCH and DR.
