Unexpectedly synthesized, a novel compound C(6)H(15)N(2) (+)·NCS(-) was formed from benzoyl chloride, ammonium thiocyanate, and cyclohexane-1,2-diamine. Crystal analysis revealed a chair conformation and 2D network formation via hydrogen bonding.
