Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the association between FFM personality traits and 7-year cognitive functioning trajectories in older individuals.
  • To determine if Neuroticism and other FFM dimensions predict cognitive decline over time.

Main Methods:

  • Analysis of existing clinical trial data from 602 older adults (average age 79).
  • Personality assessed at baseline using the NEO-Five Factor Inventory.
