Abstract:
A case of suicide is described that combined elements of psychotic self-mutilation, both chronic and terminal, and poisoning with ingested chloroform. This illustrates the need to consider unusual methods when investigating the deaths of people with patterns of bizarre behavior and access to unusual, fatal materials.
