    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the presence of tumor-specific DNA sequences in malignant gliomas.
    • To differentiate tumor DNA from normal brain DNA.

    • Hydroxyapatite chromatography was employed to separate DNA sequences.
    • Radioactively labeled DNA ([3H]DNA) from malignant astrocytomas and medulloblastomas was used.

    • These tumor-specific DNA sequences may serve as diagnostic markers for malignant gliomas.
