Abstract:
A study of twenty-nine patients suffering from post-traumatic anal incontinence is presented. Twenty-eight patients had reconstructive surgery with a 96% overall success rate. Careful patient selection, preoperative evaluation and preparation, meticulous surgical technique and careful postoperative management insure a successful therapeutic result.
