Noninvasive ventilation coupled with nebulization during asthma crises: a randomized controlled trial.

Combining nebulization with noninvasive ventilation (NIV) in asthma exacerbations did not improve radio-aerosol lung deposition. However, this combined approach led to significant clinical improvements in pulmonary function for asthma patients.
