Summary

Desensitization therapies aim to reduce human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antibodies in patients awaiting thoracic transplants. Monitoring HLA antibody levels and function post-therapy helps assess transplant safety and minimize antibody-mediated rejection (AMR).
