Summary

Single photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) provides valuable insights for diagnosing prosthetic joint complications when X-rays are inconclusive. This advanced imaging technique is becoming a standard second-line diagnostic tool for hip and knee arthroplasty.
